How to Start Yoichi’s Target Practice Quest
You’ll first encounter Yoichi’s challenge during the “Grove Lumber Hunt” quest in the Summer Region. While exploring, you’ll notice wooden targets scattered around. Destroying one using a bow triggers an encounter with Yoichi, who explains he’s hidden targets all across Azuma.
Your goal is to find and shoot down every single one.
- Progress Tracking: You can track your progress in the Azuma Quests tab in the quest log.
- Total Sets: There are 8 sets of targets hidden throughout the different regions.
All Target Locations
Below is a breakdown of where you’ll find each set of targets. They’re listed roughly in the order you’re likely to encounter them as you play through the game.
Spring Region
Targets are located in accessible areas early in the game, often just off the main paths.

Island Fortress
Requires exploration and possible backtracking. Check elevated areas and corners.

Summer Region
The first set appears here during the main story. Additional targets are scattered around hidden spots.

Autumn Region
Search near forest clearings and elevated ridges. A few may be hidden behind environmental objects.

Forgotten Grove
This more remote region contains some well-hidden targets. Look in tree canopies and behind natural structures.

Winter Region
The snowy landscape can obscure targets. Check ledges, rooftops, and cliffside edges.

White Wolf Mountain
A mountainous, snowy area. Some targets may require precise jumping or gliding to reach.

Goldblossom Mines
Targets are deep within the mine tunnels. You may need to defeat enemies or solve puzzles to access some areas.
